Artist Statment

I have received most of my inspiration from the “Beat Generation”, especially the writing of Jack Kerouac. Kerouac’s ability to describe a moment in time, a moment that will never happen again, no matter how many times it is revisited, is captivating. I see my photographs in that same way, each time I venture out to make images, I try to capture all that I see, knowing that the next time I return the light will change, the seasons will change and my feelings will change.
